At 11:09 a.m. in France (05:09 a.m. EST) on November 12, 2013, after 129 days at sea, capsizing 10 time and facing waves of over 10 meters, Mylène Paquette became the first North American woman to row solo across the North Atlantic Ocean, from Canada to France.
