Ongoing Adventures
THE SOUL OF AN ADVENTURER
For Mylène Paquette, some adventures are ongoing. She continues to support the causes and projects closest to her heart and take on new personal challenges to keep growing as a person.
SOLO MOM
RETHINKING PARENTHOOD
Solo parenting is a challenge in itself, especially when you’re a 42-year-old toddler mom!
It’s an adventure the ocean rower had already attempted in 2017 after a year of preparation, well before her first child was born. The concept is simple: use a donor to conceive a child. But solo parenting isn’t easy and raises complex questions. Mylène discusses her uncommon choice to bring about a shift in mentalities.
PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH
Circuit bleu -
charles-bruneau
For over a decade, Mylène Paquette has supported the Fondation Charles-Bruneau and pediatric cancer research through the Circuit bleu fundraising event. For two days, solo and team kayakers and paddleboarders trek around Montréal for a great cause. Are you ready to paddle with Mylène?
2023 AUDACIEUSES — LEUCAN
PARTICIPATING IN LEUCAN’S SHAVED HEAD CHALLENGE
In 2023, Mylène joined Les Audacieuses—a group of 10 bold and exceptional women who agreed to take part in the LEUCAN Shaved Head Challenge. Together, they raised over $210,000 to support the association and change the lives of thousands of children living with cancer.
