The adventurous spirit
Solo mom
A different approach to parenthood
Solo parenting is a challenge in itself, especially as a 42-year-old woman already raising a two-year-old child. The ocean rower had already attempted this journey in 2017 and had been preparing for it since 2016, well before her first experience of motherhood. The concept is simple: bringing a child into the world with the help of a donor. The realization of this choice, and the questions this type of parenthood raises, are far more complex. Mylène speaks openly about this unconventional decision and seeks to help shift perspectives.
