Festival de films pour l’environnement (FFPE)
The Festival de films pour l’environnement (FFPE) is Quebec's first film festival dedicated to the environment.
The Festival de films pour l’environnement (FFPE) was created in 2004 by Rendez-vous culturels de Saint-Casimir (RVCSC). Quebec's first film festival dedicated to the environment is associated with Earth Day (April 22). The FFPE is an annual event that takes place at the end of April and its programming is spread over 10 days.
Especially dedicated to films dealing with environmental issues, the festival also aims to create a multimedia event in which performances, exhibitions, lectures, introductory workshops and training related to cinematography and the environment in addition to film screenings (short, medium and feature films), from here and elsewhere. A scholar component is also integrated into the programming. Space artistic profusion, the FFPE is a place of exchange between artists, but also a meeting with the public.
